New Horizons in Cardio Kidney Disease 2026

Event img

New Horizons in Cardio Kidney Disease is a free-to-access, one-day virtual educational event on 30 June 2026

The event will examine key barriers to optimal cardio kidney disease management, including the under-recognition of cardio-kidney risk, persistent gaps in risk detection and biomarker use, underutilisation of guideline-directed treatments and combination approaches, limited multidisciplinary collaboration with unclear ownership of care in real-world settings, and a rapidly evolving therapeutic landscape that demands forward-looking education. The programme is designed to move beyond raising awareness and toward strengthening clinical competence and improving performance in practice.

Led by course directors Dr Muthiah Vaduganathan (Boston, US), Dr Neha Pagidipati (Durham, US), and Prof Smeeta Sinha (Salford, UK) the programme will feature expert-led presentations, case-based discussions, and multidisciplinary panel sessions. This interactive, collaborative format reflects real-world care pathways and supports the broader implementation of evidence-based strategies in clinical practice.

*New Horizons in Cardio Kidney Disease's programme will be submitted to the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals (EBAC) seeking 5h of effective education time, equating to 5 CME credits.
