New Horizons in Obesity Management is a free-to-access, one-day virtual educational event on 17 June 2026.

The event examines obesity as a central driver of cardio-renal-metabolic disease and a core contributor to multimorbidity across organ systems, and explores modern obesity pharmacotherapy as a potential disease-modifying intervention. New for 2026, the programme introduces three track-based sessions to tailor your learning experience across diverse clinical settings (cardiology, primary care and obesity-focused practice). The content integrates lifestyle, pharmacologic and procedural strategies within guideline-directed care.

Led by Course Directors Dr Angela Fitch, Prof Richard Hobbs and Prof Nikolaus Marx, the programme brings together a panel of distinguished global experts in the field of obesity and cardiovascular disease.

New Horizons in Obesity Management’s programme will be submitted to the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals (EBAC) seeking 4 CME credits, equating to 4 hours of effective education time. Physicians may convert EBAC External CME credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
